Easter Party

Then after Easter, MOMS Club had their Easter party.

Gracie really, really loved having her face painted...

 And Jack absolutely loved the end result...

 And you have to love your mom friends because they ask if you want a picture with your kiddos - and really, how often does that happen?

 Then there was one more egg hunt...

Okay, okay, I know mom... I'm way behind. Let's see what we can catch up. Easter was a lot of fun this 

year.

There was egg dying... 

 Thank God for a daddy that enjoys this as much as his kids!

 And the Easter bunny came...

 But that didn't mean that Grace was finished sleeping...

Once she woke up, the egg hunt was LOTS of fun!

 And "wide-eyed" eggcitement was displayed by all...

 Then Grama and Papa came over for church and a yummy breakfast!

 And then we got to see two-papa's. There was another egg hunt...

 Visits from Great-grandparents...

 And lots of time to play with the cutest cousin ever!

Easter Egg Hunt

The Saturday before Easter we went to the city's egg hunt. It was lots of fun. This is really the first time that Grace has gotten to hunt for eggs, but she did great!  Luckily, she got to hunt for eggs with the 0-2 yrs group since she wouldn't be three for three days after that. I think it made for a smooth transition into egg hunting.

Jack, of course, is a seasoned veteran - and thank goodness, because the 5 and 6 yr old age group appears to be the most popular.

Can you find him?  Even though they are given these little, tiny bags to use, some of the kids in this group walked away with nothing. But Jack had a great time. So it was Happy Hunting!

My Little Chefs...

They had a blast decorating their Easter pastries at the bakery... It was really cute and it went really fast! Oh the JOY!

Happy Easter! We colored eggs the night before. The kids had a blast. It was the first year that they really seemed to enjoy it. They took their time and worked on making some really beautiful eggs! Gracie got a little carried away coloring on the egg with a crayon and ended up crushing it into pieces. I guess she likes the texture and the mess. The next morning, Grace woke up before Jack. She woke him up and then they checked out the baskets. They were both very excited! Jack was happy to see the Thomas toys that he'd been begging for... And to see that the bunny enjoyed the carrots and celery that he left out. Then it was time to look for eggs...Gracie mostly followed us around begging for more candy... After that, we got ready and Grama Colleen and Papa Pat came over. We had a wonderful brunch and the kids got more Easter toys and then we went to church. All ready to go... Gracie is wearing a coat that my mom made for me when I was her age... After all of that it was time to head over to two Papas house... Where the kids were spoiled even more. We hope that you and your family also had a wonderful Easter!
